Telehealth

Thank you for choosing a Telehealth visit with us!

We have included instructions with general telehealth information and specific patient instructions to help you have the easiest visit possible. Several insurance companies are no longer covering telehealth visits that are unrelated to COVID-19. We will attempt to bill your insurance company for the visit, however, if they do not provide reimbursement you will be billed the cost of the visit. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance company to determine if your plan covers telehealth visits.

*Please note, due to the 1135 Waiver Authority and Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act, we are temporarily allowed to use non HIPAA compliant technology to conduct telehealth visits. We are working to obtain a HIPAA compliant way to provide these visits with our current electronic medical record, however, this will likely take several weeks to months. If you choose to have a telehealth visit with me using one of these platforms there is a risk the visit could be intercepted. *

You can attend the Telehealth visit using your smartphone, iPad, laptop, or desktop computer equipped with a webcam.

Please note, in order to provide a Telehealth visit, you must have a working webcam and Chrome or Firefox browsers are needed if using a computer!

Please note, Doxy.me is the best choice if you have an internet connection or any type of smartphone! However, you do not have to have an internet connection.
